  • Integrated expertise, free from conflict: Cameron Harrison’s Specialist Network provides access to carefully selected external advisers across multiple disciplines, with no financial benefit received from referrals. Clients benefit from coordinated advice, overseen and delivered by Cameron Harrison, ensuring outcomes are integrated rather than fragmented.

  • Built for complexity and refined over time: Developed over more than 25 years, the network supports the increasingly complex needs of significant wealth owners, spanning single-discipline advice through to highly technical, multi-disciplinary engagements involving structures, transactions and intergenerational considerations.

  • Structured, accountable and client-first delivery: Specialist engagements are managed within a clearly defined process, with scope agreed upfront, responsibilities assigned and progress overseen throughout. Cameron Harrison holds the threads across all advisers, ensuring seamless execution aligned to one integrated plan.

With significant wealth comes complexity. Investments, operating businesses, structures, property and family interests each carry their own technical demands, and rarely in isolation. Through more than 50 years of advising business and significant wealth owners on their wealth journeys, Cameron Harrison’s Partners have come to work with exceptional advice service providers whose expertise complement Cameron Harrison’s investment management, wealth planning and specialist advice. The Specialist Network itself has been built and refined over more than 25 years and is deliberately diverse – spanning every level of complexity our clients’ affairs demand, from straightforward single-discipline needs through to intricate multi-disciplinary matters involving structures, transactions and intergenerational considerations.

Whether as part of our integrated wealth planning or as your specific needs dictate, we can introduce you to an appropriate external specialist. As is our prudent nature, we have chosen these specialists carefully, worked with them extensively, and directly experienced the quality of their service. It is part of our commitment to deliver excellence in outcomes – with independence, and free from any financial conflict or benefit to us.

The network spans seven disciplines: legal, accounting and tax, insurance, finance and funding, real estate, artwork and collectibles, and corporate advisory – reflecting the growing number of clients navigating business sales, acquisitions and mergers or combinations as part of their broader wealth strategy. Each discipline operates within a single integrated plan: Cameron Harrison defines the strategy, engages the right specialists, agrees scope and oversees delivery through to completion.

Integrated expertise, free from conflict – developed over 25 years, overseen and delivered by Cameron Harrison

Engagement of our Specialist Network is woven into our planning methodology, not left to chance. Specialists are typically brought in as part of a defined process that Cameron Harrison oversees on our clients’ behalf: scope is agreed at the outset, deliverables and responsibilities are clearly assigned, and accountability is maintained through to completion.

Where several disciplines intersect, as they so often do in the affairs of significant wealth owners, we hold the threads. Each adviser works to the one plan, sequencing is managed, and nothing is permitted to fall between disciplines. For our clients, the result is a seamlessly executed plan or project, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing it is being overseen with care.

Conducting and overseeing a business owner succession strategy brings together many technical facets. Led by Cameron Harrison’s Business Succession Planning methodology to define the critical issues and path, there are invariably significant specialist requirements across tax, legal counsel and finance and funding. The circumstances might involve the intergenerational transfer of control or of specific assets, the sale of a business, acquisitions or business combinations, management agreements, loan accounts, shareholder agreements and funding arrangements.

We work with our clients’ existing tax and legal advisers to deliver the client’s plan. Where appropriate, clients can also draw on the highly experienced advisers within our Specialist Network – professionals who have worked alongside Cameron Harrison on engagements requiring technical tax, legal and transactional expertise.

In recommending members of our Specialist Network, it is important that our clients know:

–    We receive no financial benefit from the external parties we recommend

–    We assess each specialist for skill, knowledge, experience and ethical conduct

–    We have worked directly with each service provider

–    Where we oversee the plan or project, we agree scope with the external advisers, coordinate their work within the one integrated plan, and monitor progress

–    We review each engagement on completion as part of our quality system
